Target audience: Coaches who are delivering coaching in their own organisations and the wider NHS as well as coaching leads who are developing and implementing coaching programmes in their own organisations.

Delivered by Katharine St John-Brooks from the EMCC, making the most of internal coaching offers an insight into the rewards and challenges involved in being an internal coach.

  • The scope for encountering ethical dilemmas and approaches for dealing with them
  • Case studies to discuss

Participants will learn how to get the most out of being an internal coach, as well as a robust understanding of some of the challenges and a raised awareness of how to spot and deal with ethical dilemmas that can arise.

Who will present?

Katharine St John-Brooks is an executive coach and consultant specialising in the strategic use of internal coaches within organisations. She has spent 15 years as an external coach and has written an acclaimed book 'Internal Coaching: The Inside Story', based on research with 123 internal coaches and interviews with a myriad of L&D professionals, lead coaches, trainers, supervisors and sponsors.

Katharine holds an MSc in Organisational Behaviour, an MA in Professional Development (Coaching) and is a fellow of the Institute of Consulting. She has worked across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors and currently focuses exclusively on board level and CEO clients in her coaching work.
